Welcome to Vic-Bilh Cottages in Castetpugon, situated in the Madiran wine region, in the heart of the Béarnaise countryside
Laurence and Sylvain welcome you in the three airconditioned cottages in a private site of 2 hectares, with neither asphalt nor concrete roads, but with just a preserved nature. This site is for persons searching for calm and leisure in the midst of nature. The three cottages are sufficiently isolated from each other in order to have an intimate space and tranquillity.
Ideally situated in the heart of the Southeast, the cottages are on the edge of the four departments (Pyrénées-Atlantiques, Hautes-Pyrénées, Gers et Landes) and two regions, la Nouvelle-Aquitaine et l’Occitanie. We are 36 kms from Pau and 17 kms from Aire sur l’Adour, 62 kms from Lourdes, 42 kms from Marciac and 33 kms from Nogaro etc. We can also go as far as the Atlantic Coast or Landaise (148 kms from Biarritz and 137 kms from Hossegor for instance) but also until the Pyrenées, (83kms from Laruns) which show themselves in the numerous strolls that we can do.
Dans la région viticole du Madiran et du Pacherenc, le Vic-Bilh est une région avec un terroir vivant et riche, où l’on cultive le bien vivre, et l’authenticité. On peut aussi y découvrir un intéressant patrimoine architectural et rural, pêcher, faire des randonnées pédestres, équestres, ou en VTT. Chaque saison est propice à la découverte et à l’émerveillement : l’automne avec ses couleurs flamboyantes et la cueillette des champignons, le printemps et ses prairies parsemées d’orchidées sauvages. L’été de nombreuses attractions touristiques sont proposées aux alentours, ou un peu plus loin. Enfin, en hiver le paysage est très dégagé et lumineux…
